Sweeping Water (August 14)

Almost been out for a whole month this next week and i can't believe it, time is passing soooo quickly here.
This week for our service project we had the wonderful opportunity of sweeping water for an hour. Not with squeegees or however you spell it but with brooms. And not in a building but outside on the street. It was actually super fun.... despite the smell... Basically the concrete is all tilted at different angles so the water never drains so we pushed the water into the drains, it took us about an hour and it was probably the weirdest service project i have ever done. also, one of the smelliest and dirtiest. Oh yeah and while i was sweeping the water appparently I'm so strong that i literally broke the broom I was using, It was super funny cause breaking it cuased a lot of water to get on me so i took a very nice and long shower.
This week has been super chill though. Time is passing quickly which is a blessing when you have almost the same exact schedule, Every. Single. Day. Except for sunday and pday, those days are the best days in the whole week.
Learning spanish is getting easier. Most of the Vocab comes to me very easily, it's just the grammar that gets me all messed up. Knowing when to recognize and knowing when you use it is a little frustrating.
We've got about ten kids from westlake here right now which is actually pretty dope. three or four of them have classrooms next to mine so i always mess around for like five minutes and just have a grand old time. I see one of my good buds Elder Bargeron literally everywhere. at least five times a day, so we're just having a blast messing with eachother.
I'm missing food in america so much right now. A real hamburger sounds amazing, pretty sure i would devour three to four if i had the chance right now.
I went to get some snacks from the tienda the other day and I got a bag of nacho cheese doritos. they were super good except they were super spicy. It caught me off guard, but they were still good so i ate them all of course.
We've been getting more personal time i think. So i've been reading a bunch of the book of mormon. I'm also marking a BOM with all the scriptures found in Preach my gospel but thats gonna take forever
We have this kid in my district who was sad he missed christmas in july so we celebrated christmas in august. He bought everyone presents, we sang a few christmas songs too. One of the weirdest things I've ever done but super funny. We apparently woke up the CCM president with feliz navidad cause his house is right next to ours.
I don't know how but I've lost weight at the ccm too. Most people put on weight but i've lost 5-10 pounds, I never thought that would happen. It's probably cause i'm actually working out now and I am obviously gonna get swole during my mission

Sorry for the overload of pictures but basically this is the first three-four weeks of my mission life. Christmas in the MTC, some of my friends, the temple, my district, and when i was stuck in SLC on my first day too
